ABOUT ME

Matt was a Co-Class Advisor for the class of 2005 at WHS and the Co-Founder of the Wellesley Speed and Conditioning Clinic from 2003-Present. He was the Wellesley Head Wrestling Coach from 2003-2007 and coached the last 3 of 4 State Champions for the Raiders. He also was a Wellesley Assistant Football Coach from 2002-2005. Since 2006, Matt has been the Defensive Coordinator at King Phillip High School. During his tenure at KP they are five-time Hockomock League champs and two-time Super Bowl champs('16 & '17).

Matt started his teaching career as a Chemistry teacher back in 1996. Even though his background was in science he has always loved sports, fitness and everything outdoors.His enthusiasm for fitness and outdoor activities brought him to Wellesley in 2002 and prompted him to add a teaching certification in Phys. Ed. Matt believes in a stress free classroom environment where students can focus on themselves and their mind and body connection. When he is not teaching he enjoys skiing, waterskiing, hiking, rock climbing and golfing. He especially enjoys doing these activities with his family (two children & two dogs).
